The Savings bank Rhône Alpes Lyon (CERAL), banks co-operative, member and shareholder of National bank of the Savings banks.
It was created following the fusion of several old Cases like the Savings bank of Lyon.
It is one of the more large banks of the area which extends its activities on 3 departments: the the Rhone, the Isere and the Ain.
It has more than 1.200.000 customers, 200 agencies and 2000 paid.
Its principal activities are the bank of detail, the financings with the private individuals and the professionals, the life insurance, the banking saving and the insurance of damage.
It is directed by a directory of 5 members: H. Vogel, president, F. Campergue, with finances, J. - F. Girardot, DRH, Mr. Picot, with the development, and B. Duchesne, with the banking exploitation.
The head office of the CERAL is located at Lyon, in the district of the Share-god, in the tower Savings bank where 600 people work.
Since May 2007, the Savings bank Rhône Alpes Lyon and the savings bank of the Alps approached to form only one and even entity, the Savings bank Rhône Alpes (or CERA).
