Savage Garden

Savage Garden is a duet pop-rock'n'roll, now separated, formed by Darren Hayes (singer, lyric writer) and Daniel Jones (melodist, instrumentalist) in 1993. Both are Australian.

Their first album éponyme is born in March 1997, there climb directly in the first place and remain 13 weeks at the top of the hit-parades Australian. Their first individual I Want You is classified as of its exit second behind Macarena! It quickly becomes platinum disc with 70.000 sold specimens. The duet draws its name from the work of the American writer Anne Rice.
