Sauviac (the Gironde)
Sauviac is a common French, located in the department of the the Gironde and the area Aquitaine.
Geography
The southern half of the commune is occupied by the main forest of the Landes of Gascogne, the remainder is occupied by continuations of small small valleys and plates devoted to the breeding.
History
the seigniory of Sauviac included/understood the borough and part of the current commune. The other part was in the jurisdiction of Bazas.
