Saulcy

Saulcy is a common French, located in the department of the the Vosges and the area Lorraine.

Geography

Saulcy is located in the valley of Bouchard, an affluent of the Rabodeau, with the foot of the Col of Hantz. The habitat there is very dispersed, in small hamlets, Quieux, Harcholet… One perforated in the solid mass makes it possible to join Mousssey.

History

Curiosities

  • the church Saint-Jean-of-Mount is divided with the two common neighbors, Belval upstream and the Mount downstream. One finds there a Ciboire gilded silver, classified historic building under object; it goes back to approximately 1700.
  • the castle of Belval, badly named since established on the commune of Saulcy, was built in 1904 by the family Nansé, industrial rich person textile. The Regional Case of Health insurance of the North-East, current administrative of the site, accommodated there, until 2006, of the profit pensioners of the social minimums for stays of holidays.
