Sarlat-la-Canéda (in Occitan: Sarlat E Caneda ) is a common French, located in the department of the the Dordogne and the area Aquitaine.

History

Sarlat is a medieval city which developed around large a Abbaye bénédictine of origin Carolingien. monastic Seigniory, it reached its apogee at the 13th century.
