Satya
Satya is a word Sanskrit which can be translated into French by " Truth " or " exactitude". It is the term of the capacity due to its purity and it became the emblem many movements, especially those concentrated on the Social justice, the écologisme and the Végétarisme.
Satya is also defined in Sanskrit like " sate hitam satyam " who results in " All that brings you closer to Sat (God) is Satya (the real truth) ". Thus all the actions, words and the Sagesse which bring closer to God are the truth. As for God, Satya philosophically includes the concept of eternity and absence of change or distortion.
Hindouisme
This concept of universal reality is common in Eastern philosophy. Combined with other words, staya becomes a modificatuer like " ultra" or " grand" or " more vrai" , connoting the purity or excellence. Examples: Satyaloka (higher sky), Satya Yuga (the golden age of the four cosmic ages of the hindouism, the current time the Kali Yuga being the worst of these ages).
Buddhism
The Satya term is translated like " vrai" in the Noble path eightfold, like Satya Vishwas (true belief), Satya Karma, (truth/good deed), etc the Four noble truths is called by Bouddha " Aryasatya."
Jaïnisme
Jaïnisme regards satya as one of its 5 basic principles and all the Sadhu S must do it want to adhere to it.
