Curiosities

Satigny accommodates since 1974 the Center Scout of Pérouses, located in the forest between Satigny-Station and Peney-Dessous. This center accommodates each year, either in its modern buildings or on its grounds of camp, a great number of camps of young people.

The " Nègre" district; , located at the south of the station, seems it takes its origin of the blackened faces of the workmen working in an old coal factory.

Policy

The mayor of the commune of Satigny is Mr. Daniel Stettler. Its assistants are Mr. André Tinguely and Mrs. Diane Necker.

The municipal council is composed of 17 members, with middle-class majority.
