Sarzay
Sarzay is a common French, located in the department of the Indre and the area Center.
Geography
History
Cité in 1300.The parish depended on the archbishop's palace of Bourges. The seigniory of Sarzay belonged to the family of Barbançois which built the castle and remained owner until 1720 about it; she was set up in marquisat in 1651. The building was used as framework with George Sand for her novel “the Miller of Angibault”.
