Sarrians
Sarrians is a common French, located in the department of Vaucluse and the area Provence-Alp-Coast of Azure.
Geography
To 15 km in the south-east of Orange and to 8 km in the North-West of Carpentras by D950. Before leaving Laces of Montmirail, on the axis Carpentras-Orange, the small borough of Sarrians is located.
History
It is known that the Romans were installed formerly on this territory thanks to the currencies, medals and burials that one found there. The village was baptized “Puyricard”, but no vestige survived the tumultuous episodes of the history of the commune. It is in 1060 qu ' a new village was built under the name which one knows today: Sarrians.
