Sarah Sze

Sarah Sze born in 1969 with Boston, is a American Artiste and Sculpteur , living with New York.

Sarah Sze is known particularly for her sculptures In situ transitory S, in which thousands of small objects of the daily life are assembled in fragile forms, light and stretched.

Its artistic installations is closely related to the architectural context of the places of exposure, architecture and the city being in the center of its work.

Exposures

Its work was presented in personal exposures to the Museum of contemporary art of Chicago (1998), to the Museum of the Art schools of Boston, to the institute of the contemporary arts of London, and to the Fondation Cartier with Paris (1999), the Biennial one of Berlin (1997) and the Biennale de Venise (1999), in addition to collective exposures.

More recently, it installed sculptures in the collections of the Massachusetts Institute off Technology and with the Museum of contemporary art of San Diego.
