Sarah Fisher
Sarah Fisher is a racing driver American born the October 4th 1980 with Columbus in the Ohio.
Biography
After having begun her career in the races from kart and midget, Sarah Fisher reaches the Indy Racing League at the end of the season 1999, whereas it is just 19 years old. As from 2000, it controls full-time in IRL within Walker Racing, and disputes in particular this year the 500 Miles of Indianapolis. Irony of the history, its first participation in the famous test finishes prematurely following a fixing with Lyn St James, the other woman present at the beginning.In 2001, Sarah Fisher finishes second of the test of Miami, which starts to be worth a certain notoriety with the the United States to him. With the end of the year, she is even elected by the most popular public the pilot of the championship , an honorary title which she will also take down the two following years. Controlling for average stables (with the beginning of the year 2002, it is recruited by Dreyer & Reinbold Racing), and being itself a pilot rather irregular, it however does not manage to affirm himself over the duration like one claiming regular in the first places. That does not prevent it from returning in 2002 on the oval of the Kentucky in the history of the automobile sport while becoming the first woman to take down a pole position in a major series of single-seater. But this new blow of glare remains insulated, and after an ultimate season supplements in 2003, then a last participation in Indianapolis 500 in 2004 (with Kelley Racing), it leaves the IRL, for lack of wheel.
At the time of the season 2005, Sarah Fisher tries to reconvert herself into the tests of stock car. But its participations in Nascar West Series (a regional division of the Nascar) show not very convincing results. In August 2006, it carries out its return to the IRL at Dreyer & Reinbold at the time of the handles of Kentucky and Chicagoland. These two appearances precede its full-time return in the championship in 2007.

To note that a few weeks after her pole position of Kentucky in 2002, thanks to a common sponsor (the watches TAG Heuer), Sarah Fisher was invited to traverse some turns of demonstration at the wheel of the McLaren - Mercedes on the circuit of Indianapolis, in preamble to the GP of the United States 2002. She also appeared in an international publicity in which, at the wheel of a Formule 1, she made the race on the circuit of Monaco against a ball sent by the golfor Tiger Woods.
