Sarah Chang
Sarah Chang (born the December 10th 1980 with Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, the United States), is a American Violoniste of Korean origin.
It began the Violon at the 4 years age and entered to the Juilliard School off Music the class of Dorothy DeLay, very quickly considered as a Child prodigy. At the eight years age, she auditions for Zubin Mehta and Riccardo Muti and occurs with the Philharmonic orchestra of New York and the Orchestre of Philadelphia. In 1999, it receives Avery Fisher Prize, one of the most prestigious price decreed with an instrumentalist.
She collaborates with the philharmonic orchestras of New York and of Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, the Philharmonic ones of Berlin and Vienna, principal orchestras of London as well as Royal Concertgebouw of Amsterdam. It gives a prestigious recital for its beginnings in Carnegie Hall and of the concerts in the Kennedy Center of Washington, in Orchestra Hall of Chicago, Symphony Hall of Boston, in Barbican Center of London or the Philharmonic society of Berlin.
She also devotes herself to the Chamber music with partners of foreground such as: Pinchas Zukerman, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Martha Argerich, Stephen Kovacevich or Lynn Harrell inter alia.
