Sara Tancredi
Sara Tancredi is a doctor, played by Sarah Wayne Callies. It is one of the main characters of the Feuilleton televised Prison Station-wagon . It is the doctor of the Prison Fox River. Up to now, it appeared in each episode of the series except two episodes of the second season.
Preamble
After the death of the character of Robin Tunney, Veronica Donovan, Sara Tancredi became the only female main character. The importance of its role in the first season is related to its position in the prison (doctor), the place where she works (infirmary) and its love affair with the hero of the serial Michael Scofield. To the wire of the season its role progresses, it ends up becoming the key of the escape from Michael. In the following season, the role of Sara still increases until becoming one of the principal intrigues of the serial.
Biography of fiction
Having grown in the suburbs of Chicago, Sara Tancredi always wanted to be a doctor since it was very small. At the university of Northwestern, she studied the life of Mahatma Gandhi and decided to devote herself to the humanitarian, it is what later influenced its decision to work with the Prison Fox River.Sara is the only daughter of the governor of the Illinois, Frank Tancredi. In the episode the Confessions (2x07) , it is indicated that his/her mother died for a long time. Because of the political career absorbing of his/her father and their divergences of opinions, Sara forever be very near to him. As she explains it to Michael Scofield, in 29 years Frank Tancredi to its birthday only 6 times came.
Three years before the imprisonment of Michael Scofield to the Prison Fox To rivet, Sara took drugs with morphine. One day that it was pilot of an car accident, it realized that it was in the incapacity to come to assistance of the casualty. Upset, Sara immediately sought to change its lifestyle. After a riot bursts, Sara is temporarily imprisoned all alone in a room of infirmary with near the prisoners threatening to violate it. Michael saves it thereafter by involving it with him in the ceilings and the conduits of the buildings. He affirms to him that he knows them because he would have cleaned toxic moulds within the framework of pi (penitentiary Industry). Sara discovers later that he lied to him what pushes it to wonder more about him and in particular on the steering of the bank. During its research, she discovers that Michael is a kind of genius and that it cannot be prevented from helping the others leaves to be sacrificed. After the escape
In the first episode of this season, Sara leaves the coma finally and awakes at the hospital after having had flashbacks on Michael. A little later she is questioned by the Foley agent of the FBI, which it accused of complicity of escape and reveals to him that eight prisoners are escaped. Not including/understanding the presence of prisoners other than Michael and her brother, Sara entrusts at once to Katie that Michael used it and that it nothing tested forever for her. Little time afterwards, Sara is released by his/her father, the Tancredi Governor, when it pays the guarantee. It immediately orders to him to follow its instructions which will be in the best interest for both - it must regularly go to the meetings former drug addicts, plead “not culprit” in front of the judge and put all the responsibility for the escape on the back from the director Henry Pope.
Initially, Sara refuses but in front of the intransigence of his/her father ends up answering: “ yes, Mister ”. The Tancredi Governor also learns with his daughter that it will be indicated soon as a next vice-president of the the United States and though it receives an invitation for the ceremony, his presence is not by no means wished.
According to the wishes of his/her father, Sara goes to an anonymous meeting former drug addicts to which Kellerman also assists under the name of Lance, homosexual. After a meeting, Sara and Kellerman discuss in a friendly way by tasting a tart share when it receives a phone call of Michael. Michael, which has just learned that it tried to commit suicide, is excused but Sara is little laid out to listen to it. He manages however to him to say that what there is between them is real, which she is perhaps probably in danger now that she is related to him and with his brother and that he already gave him a means of arranging the things. Its negligent use of the first name of Michael alerts Kellerman on the identity of the telephone correspondent.

While returning visit with his/her father at his office, Sara learns that the candidature of his/her father for the post of vice-president was withdrawn. She goes immediately to the residence of her father where she discovers it hung in an apparent suicide. When it detaches it, a mysterious key falls from the pocket of the jacket of his/her father. She affirms with the authorities that his/her father was not suicidal and that he was undoubtedly assassinated, but they seem skeptics.
Tracked by the Trust
After having carried the key which it found, Sara returns to its apartment to find another origami in the mail. Before it can open the letter, it notices the bottles and the syringes of Morphine presented in the disorder on its table of living room to put in scene its " overdose ". An agent of the Trust emerges suddenly behind Sara. Coincidence, it is the same man who assassinated Veronica Donovan, Sara meets Michael for the first time of this second season.Michael beseeches her forgiveness and is upset to learn that his/her father was assassinated. Sara as for it remains on the defensive and is not yet ready to go completely towards him. At the moment when it assure him that it does not want to be only () and that it lowers its guard gradually, Mahone emerges and stops their head with head. After having succeeded in escaping to him, Sara and Michael take refuge in a motel where Michael asks him to remain with him one day more. After having left a note in which she excuses herself and explains ( This time, I can with what hold me. I am sorry… ), it goes towards its car. There it changes opinion abruptly and decides to join Michael finally but Kellerman preceded it.
Captive of Kellerman, this one knows that it is in possession of a key (the " mysterious clé") particularly important since it proves the innocence of Lincoln. When Sara denies to have knowledge on this information, Kellerman decides to torture it by regularly inserting the head under water to him and by throwing a domestic iron to electrocute it.
Sara preserving its dumbness, Kellerman receives the order to kill her. It tries to drown it but while the Kellerman agent is stopped by an employee of the hotel, she manages to flee while jumping by the window. Having landed on the windshield of a car, it takes refuge in a corner isolated to look after its wounds. Kellerman not managing to find it, it is returned secret services.
The following day, it hopelessly tries to contact Michael and a message leaves him on its responder where it acknowledges to him that it finally did not start from Gila and that it needs him to better be. Learning that Michae] and its brother were stopped by the police force, it decides to change appearance into cutting the hair, giving up its identity and being based in crowd.
A few days later, in the Jewell Glore Library of St Louis, it looks at a video that Michael, Lincoln and Kellerman realized for the media in which Lincoln proclaims its innocence. After having explained all the Steadman business, Michael also says that Sara is a victim innonente. Sara realizes very quickly that Michael sent a message coded to him by using titles of chapters of the book of the Alcoholics anonymouses, that it subtly mentioned on the recording. It understands that Michael gives him appointment with Akron in Ohio at the hospital St Thomas.
Not having the possibility of arriving in time, she telephones the hospital and request to speak with ( Michael Crane ). Michael realizes that it is Sara and takes the call to the reception. He excuses himself to have to recontact it, but she teaches him that she had changed opinion with Gila and that she returned towards him when she was removed. He promises to him that very will arrange itself thanks to its assistance and with the information obtained thanks to its key.
In the following episode, Sara joined Michael and Lincoln with Evansville in the Indiana. But she recognizes Kellerman (which from now on collaborates with the two brothers to reveal at the great day the conspiracy) and reveals in Michael what it did to him. Then, the group embarks in a train for Chicago, where Sara will be able to use the key that Kellerman identified like exit of a private club of cigars. In the train, Sara tries to strangle Kellerman with a cord but is prevented by it by Lincoln and Michael. Michael then will comfort it and she acknowledges her love for him to him. They end up being embraced. The four end up arriving at Chicago. At the time to enter the club of cigars, Michael recognizes that he also likes it while saying to him simply: ( Me too ) and makes him recall that they will go one day in the small quiet bar about which he had formerly spoken to him. At the time to flee with the car of the club of cigars accompanied by Michael, Lincoln and Pope, it decides not to leave to enter Kellerman the car and locks the door, this one being obliged to flee all alone before the arrival of the police force.
At the time when it tries to join Michael and Lincoln on the boat, it gives up finally after being seen that the police force followed it. Sara learns that it will have to incur a 12 years sorrow of prison and becomes completely desperate, not having any person to help it or testify. But with its great surprise, Kellerman decides to go to the court and to testify in favor of Sara Tancredi, thus revealing all that it knew about the Trust, which will cause its arrest at the end of the lawsuit as well as the release of Sara. This one does not know how to thank Kellerman, it deeply regrets having wanted some to him before and this one is satisfied to say, with a smile, " I am glad to have known to you Sara".
A little later when Michael and Lincoln go to the boat which they had bought near the young Panamanian, Sara is in fact inside this boat and will accommodate Michael, this one being very surprised to see it here. At the same time when the Kim agent was going to kill one of the two brothers, Sara emerges and draws on this one, its body falling to water. Although it saved Michael and Lincoln of a death unquestionable and eliminated William Kim, it feels upset to have killed a man and wants to be some with itself. The Panamanian police force arriving on the miles, Michael and Lincoln accompanied by Sara are seen obliged to flee. Michael and Sara take refuge in a hut in the forest but will quickly be caught up with by the police force, those their ordering to leave the house differently they would not hesitate to draw. They leave finally but Michael takes Sarah as an hostage suddenly, threatening to kill her, then goes finally while saying " It is me the faulty one, leave-there it does not have anything fait" , but Sarah retorts by saying that it is it the faulty one and not him.
In the last episode of season 2, after Michael was taken along to Sona, Lincoln which was downtown sees Sara suddenly seeming very much in a hurry to go one does not know where but loses sight of the fact it at once among crowd. Sara was unaware of whereas an agent of the Trust furtively followed it through the city…
Interpretation
The character of Sara Tancredi is played by Sarah Wayne Callies who was the first actress that the producers saw with hearing for the role. In addition, Sarah Wayne Callies was also the first to belong to the distribution of the main actors.
