Saponin officinal


The officinal saponin ( Saponaria officinalis ) is a long-lived herbaceous plant of the family of the Caryophyllaceae.

Description

It is a rather large plant, plentiful even invading easy to cultivate, with opposite oval sheets, the lower petiolate ones, with the sometimes pale pink flowers.
