Sapinaud
Sapinaud of Verrie (knight of) (1738 - 1793) was one of the first chiefs of the the Vendée and ensured the command of the first catholic and royal Armée. It beat the republican general Marcé donnat with his troops their first victories. Fallen at the hands from blue (republicans), it was put at death.
