Sanzism
The Sanzisme is a Lyons artistic movement born in 1948 starting from a manifest exposure organized in the vault from the college Ampère. Strongly marked by the School of Paris and the debates around the Abstraction and of the Figuration, this generation of Lyons artists of the post-war period gathers many personalities: Andre Cottavoz, Pierre Doye, James Bansac, Antoine Sanner, Jacques Truphémus, Jean Fusaro, Philibert-Charrin, Pierre Palué, Jean Mélinand, Andre Chaix, Paul Clear, Pierre Vain, Francoise juvin, Edouard Mouriquand, Roger Bravard, Andre Lauran.
This movement, under represented in the national collections and badly known of the collectors does not represent of it less one example of revival of the figurative painting of post-war period whose width is single in province.
