Santo d\' Amico
Santo d' Amico was born on December 11th, 1927 in Syracuse. After the artistic college, it follows the courses of the faculty of architecture.
At the same time, he proposes his first work. He starts to work for He Giornalino with Sigfrid , Capitani Coragiosi (Courageous Captain) or Guglielmo Such (Guillaume Tell). He also publishes for the Paoline editions and He Vittorioso for which he will carry out Na' Gambia, Squadriglia acrobatica or Speron d' Oro . But the author is more known for his work for the French market, in particular in the small sizes:
- 1959 to 1960: Perceval
- 1964 to 1969: it creates with Roberto Diso the character of daN Panther.
- 1965 to 1966: it created with Roberto Diso Atoman contro Killer .
- 1965 to 1987: Santo d' Amico, always assisted by Diso, will take again Lancelot in the review éponyme. For " It Vittorioso" , they will carry out Jolly together.
Then, it will illustrate 40 episodes of the Phantom before returning to work for It Giornalino in Italy.
He dies on October 25th, 1995 with Rome.
