Santo Trafficante born in 1886 with Tampa in Florida and died in 1954 following a cancer was the founder of the Famille Trafficante established in Florida.

It succeeded James Lumia on June 5th, 1950 and was replaced by his son Santo Trafficante junior, a very influential godfather in years 1970~1990.
