Santo Tomás (Peru)
Santo Tomás is the capital of the Province of Chumbivilcas, in the Région of Cuzco to the Peru. It is with 3650 meters above the Sea level and comprises 8.000 inhabitants.
The district of Santo Tomás , whose town of Santo Tomás is the capital, occupies a surface of 1924.08 km ², its population was estimated at 25.087 inhabitants in 2002.
It is limited
- to north by the districts of Llusco and Colquemarca,
- in the east by the districts of Chamaca and Velille,
- in the south by the district of Cayarani (Province of Condesuyos, Région of Arequipa),
- in south-west by the district of Puyca (province of Unión, Région of Arequipa),
- in the North-West by the district of Oropesa (Province of Antabamba, Région of Apurímac).
