Biography

Santi Ezquerro has a great experiment of professional football. It begins its career at 18 years with the team first from Osasuna Pampelune, then in the second division.

Its good services repeated within the team of Pampelune are worth to him to be recruited by the Atlético of Madrid. It spends there 2 seasons including one as a player lent to RCD Majorque before arriving in the club where it really explodes: the Athletic Bilbao.

Its 7 last years in the Basque team enable him to become one of the most experienced players Spanish championship. He also plays in the various European competitions in a rather regular way. It is able at FC Barcelona at the summer 2005 to increase the already impressive offensive potential of the team, but it is not able to be essential like holder and practically never plays with the team first.

Profile

Ezquerro is a player fast, technical, general-purpose and skilful in front of the goal. It makes it possible its team to evolve/move in various offensive tactical diagrams. Although having started in the axis of the attack, it progessivement migrated towards a post of player of corridor. This offset position does not prevent it from marking goals each season.
