Santans

Santans is a common French, located in the department of the the Jura and the area Franche-Comté.

The inhabitants of Santans are called Ninaneus, because they were famous to say always “not” (nor, Na, neu).

The village of Santans belongs to the district of Pares and the Canton of Montbarrey. It is located between the forest of Lime and the Right Bank of Loue. It occupies a charming position and dominates a landscape as wide as picturesque. The houses with typical architecture Inhabitant of Franche-Compt3e laid out in amphitheater on the leaning one of a rapid slope, are well built and located in a protected perimeter. The economic life of the village is based on agriculture and the craft industry.
