Santalum acuminatum

Santalum acuminatum , the Quandong of the desert, or quandong soft is a shrub of the family of the Santalaceae .

Its fruit is edible is also named quandong. This red fruit with core is marketed directly or in jam. It is rich in Vitamine C. The taste points out a little that of the fishing or the Rhubarbe.
