Santa Rosa (Argentina)
Santa Rosa is the capital of the province of the Pampa in Argentine. Founded tardily in 1892 shortly after the end of called the Conquest of the Desert against the Amerindian , it counted in 2005 a population of 102.610 hab. (and more by adding to this figure the town of Toay). Located in full center of the country, it is a crossing point and an important crossroads between main cities of Argentina.
Santa Rosa is in the east of the province of the Pampa. With the census of 2001, the municipality counted 94.758 inhabitants while the agglomeration counted 113.761 of them.
