Santa Fe (Argentina)

The town of Santa Fe of Vera Cruz is the capital of the Province Argentine of even name. It is also capital department of Santa Fe of the aforesaid the province. It had a population of 369.589 inhabitants according to the census of 2001. Large Santa Fe reached 488.423 inhabitants then.

Situation

The city is built on banks of the río Salado and the lagoon Setúbal (tributaries of the río Paraná), to 475 km of Buenos Aires, to 165 km of Rosario and to 25 km of Paraná on opposite bank of the river.

It is plain at the town of Paraná by the underwater tunnel Hernandarias . The two cities are currently in phase of " synurbation" and one envisages for very soon the formation of true a Conurbation between the two cities.
