Santa Eulària of Riu (Catalan name , Santa Eulalia del Río , Castilian name ) is a common of the autonomous community Spanish of the Balearic Islands as well as an important tourist center of the island of Ibiza.

History

At the time Moslem woman, the zone was called Xarc . At the time of the Catalan conquest, one modified the division of the island in cuartos (quarters) similar to the current municipal organization. The cuarto of Santa Eulalia returned in Infant Pierre of Portugal, feudal lord of Guillermo de Montgrí, bishop of Tarragone, which had the royal rights of conquest.
