Santa Anna VM-1
The Santa Anna VM-1 was three-seater of tourism with closed cabin, monoplane with braced high wing and fixed traditional train. The single specimen c/n J-1 seems to have made its first flight in 1928, year during which Santa Anna Aircraft Co was repurchased by Grays Harbor Airways of Aberdeen , State of Washington, and renamed Activian. Remotorisé with a Kinner of 100 ch, VM-1 was probably modified for a series production that the Grande Depression made impossible.
In 1928 mysterious a Adams-Toman Aircraft Co of Aberdeen, State of Washington, made hold the registration for a three-seater monoplane baptized ATA Cruiser. This apparatus with dimensions identical to those of the Santa Anna VM-1 but with an engine Warner Scarab of 110 ch had, seems T it, to take part in the National Air Races. One did not hear any more of this three-seater thereafter and the registration was réattribuée in 1952. Grays Harbor Airways and Adams-Toman Aircraft Co being neighborly in Aberdeen, it is probably of the same remotorized plane, or a simple copy.
