Sanford Robinson Gifford

Sanford Robinson Gifford (July 10th 1823 - August 29th 1880) was a painter American landscape designer, related with the Hudson River School. The landscapes of Gifford are known for their light effects on misty atmospheres. It is one of the principal figures of American the Luministe movement.
