Sandwich man
A sandwich man is a person whose activity consists in circulating with foot in the streets while carrying two wall cupboards of Publicité, a front and the other on the back, connected by straps on the shoulders.
History
The expression of sandwich man , recent, referred to the image of the man taken in “Sandwich” between its two panels of Publicity, to the image of the snack named sandwich . This one was thus named, in 1801, homage to the count de Sandwich whose cook had invented this type of meal, a cold food between two bread sections, so that it can eat without leaving his table of play.The sandwich man makes his appearance with the beginnings of the Publicité, at the end of the 19th century, when have spoke then about “advertisement” to indicate the commercial messages published in the form of Affiche S and about Tract S.
In 2007, one sees appearing a new type of sandwich man adapted to the age of the electronic communications: the man-bluetooth
