Sandra Cisneros

Sandra Cisneros is a novelist and American poetess born with Chicago the December 20th 1954. Its Mexican origins strongly influence its work.

It was born from a mother baffled and of a Mexican father , only girl among the seven children of the couple. She studied at the University of Chicago and the University of the Iowa.

Sandra Cisneros wrote two novels, the House of the street Mango (1996) and Caramelo (2004).
