Sandie Richards

Sandie Richards , born the November 6th 1968 with Clarendon, is old a Athlète jamaïcaine, specialist in the 400 meters. It was Olympic medal-holder twice out of relay, remporant the money in 2000 with Catherine Scott, Lorraine Graham and Deon Hemmings and bronzes it in 2004 with Novlene Williams, Michelle Burgher and Nadia Davy.

Sandie Richards gained its first international medal, of bronze, in 1986 with the championships of the world junior. The following year, it still gained bronze with the Universiade S and made its beginnings with the Olympic Games of summer one year later. In 2001 in Edmonton, it was member of the relays 4 X.400 meters which gained the title, the first victory out of relay for the Jamaica with the championships of the world. It finally holds the record of appearances of the championships of the world in room (five on 400 meters and four in relays 4 X.400 meters).

It obtained a diploma of Sociologie to the Université from Texas in Austin.
