Sanctuaries of the Giant Pandas of Sichuan

The sanctuaries of the giant pandas of Sichuan () located at the south-west of Sichuan province of Clouded, are the hearth of more than 30% of the giant pandas and among the most important sites of reproduction. The site covers: 9245 km ² with seven reserves natural and nine parks tourist in the mountains of Qionglai and Jiajin. With the giant pandas, the sanctuary is a refuge for other species threatened such as the red Panda, the ounce, the nebulous Panthère. Apart from the tropical forest, the sanctuary is among one of the sites in the richest world as regards botany where one finds between 5.000 and 6.000 plant species. It was noticed that the area is identical to the forests paleotropic of the tertiary era.

The Sanctuaries of the giant pandas of Sichuan are composed of seven tourist natural reserves and nine parks.
