Sanche VII of Navarre

Sanche VII of Navarre , known as " Fort" , born in 1170, died in 1234. It reigned on Navarre of 1194 with 1234. His/her sister, Berengere, wife Richard lion-hearted on May 12th, 1191. Wire of Sanche VI of Navarre, known as " the sage" and of Beatrice de Castille († 1179).

Sanche VII of Navarre married in 1195 Constance of Toulouse, girl of the count Raymond VI whom he repudiated two years later. Excommunicated by the Innocent pope III to have supported the caliph Yacub Ben Yussuf (called Miramamolin) by the bubble of April 16th, 1198, cancelled on January 29th, 1199. Certain texts speak about mysterious Sancha, being able to be the second woman of Sanche and the girl of the caliph, who would have died young person. Lastly, close to the tomb of Sanche with Roncevaux, the remainders of a woman are preserved. The obituary of the abbey qualifies it " queen Clemence, girl of Frederic, emperor of germanie"

Without heir, Sanche VII of Navarre had like successor his nephew Thibaut Ier de Navarre.
