Sanaa Lathan
Sanaa Lathan (born the September 19th 1971 with New York) is an actress Afro-American of which the first name Sanaa (pronounce its - Na), of origin swahilie means “work of art” or “beauty. ”
Biography
Sanaa Lathan is the girl of the producing realizer and Stan Lathan and of the actress and dancer of Broadway Eleanor McCoy. She is the second of five children (an older brother and three young sisters). After the divorce of her parents, whereas it was still child, it shares his time between New York where remains his/her mother and Beverly Hills where his/her father settled.During its studies of English to the the University of California to Berkeley close to San Francisco, it follows courses of theater.
Encouraged by her parents, it began his career from actress in 1996 in the televised series “ In the house ” and “ Moesha ”. Always for television, she plays in 1998 in an episode of the series “ NYPD Blue ”, before taking down its first great role with the cinema in “ Blade ” of Stephen Norrington with Wesley Snipes.
After some supporting roles and appearances, it turns in 2003 to the sides of Denzel Washington which it helps in its investigation, in the thriller of Carl Franklin “ Out off time ”, before incarnating the heroin of Alien vs. Predator of Paul W.S. Anderson in 2004, which made known it.
In 2006, it obtains an important role in the fourth season of “ Nip/Tuck ” vis-a-vis Julian McMahon and Dylan Walsh.
