San Theodoros

San Theodoros is mainly covered by the Virgin forest and is crossed by the Fleuve Badurayal.

History

It is in this area that one finds the Indians Arumbayas and Bibaros. Brilliant civilization " paztèque" developed to with it during the era précolombienne, leaving many vestiges of which the Pyramide of Trenxcoatl. The political regime

It is very unstable because it is first of all, when Tintin arrives at San Theodoros, the Tapioca general who is the president but it fears the revolution and places soldiers in all the streets then the Alcazar general seizes the power by a coup d'etat and the Tapioca general is in escape but the Alcazar general loses the capacity in the moment and its troops make their tender with the Tapioca general but the revolution bursts 30 minutes later and the Alcazar general seizes the power by the weapons and the Tapioca general is again in escape with colonel Fernandez. It is colonel Diaz who is the aide-de-camp of the Alcazar general but the general names Tintin in his place and degrades colonel Diaz as a corporal who will become an anti-Alcazar terrorist and will die at the time of an attack. The Alcazar general declares then the war in Nuevo Rico to annex the territory of Gran Chapo on behalf of General American Oil. Thereafter, the Alcazar general condemns colonel Tintin to be shot for treachery, this last will succeed in escaping. Some time after, the revolution bursts in the country and the Alcazar general expatriate in Belgium and becomes launcher of daggers leaving the capacity to the Tapioca general. A few days after, the general turns over in his country. After some time, the Alcazar general finds himself in Belgium to buy planes with a trafficker and prepares the revolution with his planes. He reverses the Tapioca general in the same month and seizes the power in San Theodoros. But a few months after the Tapioca general (then give his name to the capital: Tapiocapolis) shift the Alcazar general with the assistance of Bordurie directed by the general Plekszy-Gladz, it then organizes the revolution with the assistance of its Picaros and International Banana Company. It is on February 22nd, the day of the carnival, which it makes its revolution and makes a success of it. The Tapioca general is then condemned to the exile. Alcazar will re-elect the capital in Alcazaropolis. Although the Alcazar general appears more sympathetic nerve, the shantytowns will be always present.

Tribes

San Theodoros initially had like tribe that Paztèque. Today we can count 2 principal tribes:

Arumbayas having as Kaloma chief. They had in the beginning a Fétiche hiding a diamond which was catch during a forwarding. Ridgewell, an English explorer, was integrated into this tribe. They like much the Whiskey Loch Lomond and spiced food. They have as weapons of the Sarbacane S with darts poisoned with the Curare.
Bibaros carrying all of the blue togas. They are very believers and use as torment the contracting of the head of the person whom they captured. They have as weapons of the bludgeons out of wooden.

Fauna and Flora

Flora: There are many Bananier S, the Palmier S and the trees in all kinds in the forest. One extracts from curare of certain plants. The water lilies are numerous in the ponds.
Fauna: The Piranha S are extremely numerous in the lakes and rivers but the caiman S are also numerous as well as the anaconda S which eat the latter. In the lakes, have find also Gymnote S, kinds of fish electric. The forest is also populated of Singe S.

Tradition

Every years, in February, the carnival of San Theodoros takes place. People come from all the countries of the world take part in it.

Art

Architecture: The Paztèque style dominated in antiquity with the Pyramide S, then the style Baroque was favoured especially for the palates. Today it is a modern style with buildings out of glass which invaded the capital.
Sculpture: The statues out of traditional stone of style dominates but leaves little by little place to a very modern and abstract sculpture.
Painting: The portraits in painting are numerous but modern and abstract paintings are extremely numerous. It represents forms with the bright colors.
Music: The classical music, such as Bianca Castafiore, is appreciated enough. But the Tango S are also appreciated. At the time of the carnival, are musics of the whole world which are played.
Dance: At the time of the carnival, dances of any origines are interpreted. San Theodoriens are thus of good dancers.
Cartoon: Astérix is obviously appreciated because it is represented with the carnival.

Gastronomy

The Whiskey Loch Lomond is very appreciated by the tribes and by the population what requires sharp imports and alcohol is in general drunk much. A Brandy of the country, the aguardiente, is also very appraisal.

But for food, the bananas are eaten much but also of the fruits of any kinds. Spiced food is liked by the people and the tribes. In the prisons, are pastes which are generally been useful.

Justice

The capital punishment is authorized in San Theodoros. It can be marked by a Captain of police force, an official judge, a Colonel of the army or by the President. It is applied for the murder, terrorism, treason, the plot and other crimes serious. It is not applicable for the women who will have the prison with perpetuity. It is the Ministry for the Justice which manages all that.
