San Nicolás (Buenos Aires)

San Nicolás is one of the districts of the town of Buenos Aires, capital of the Argentine. It is delimited by the avenues: Avenida Córdoba (in north), Avenida Callao (in the west), Avenida Rivadavia (in the south), Avenida Rábida Norte and Avenida Eduardo Madero (in the east).

With Monserrat, San Nicolás is the true center of the mégapole of Buenos Aires and the very whole Argentinian Nation. In the east of its territory is the City of Buenos Aires, center economic and financial of the country. The district borders in north famous the Plaza of Mayo, therefore the Casa Rosada, seat of the Argentinian executive. One finds there moreover the greatest shopping mall of the country, the Calle Florida, the metropolitan Cathédrale of Buenos Aires, the seat of the Argentinian Supreme court (Plaza Lavalle), the Obélisque of Buenos Aires and many other monuments, sites and emblematic institutions of the Nation.
