San Giovanni Rotondo

San Giovanni Rotondo is a Italian city of the Province of Foggia in the area Pouilles.

It owes its notoriety relative to Padre Pio, priest of the Catholic church canonized by Jean-Paul II in 2002. Religious tourism allowed the construction of a big number of hotels for a village with modest dimensions at the origin.

It presents two other point of interest which is l'" hospital for the relief of the souffrance" as well as historical quarters presenting of antiques small paved lanes.
