Pushed with the withdrawal by the depression and the absence of public on the grounds of the Los Angeles Angels, the frankness from the Hollywood Stars settles in 1936 with San Diego and becomes the San Diego Padres .

Padres evolve/move in residence with the Lane Field (8000 places) of 1936 with 1958 then with Westgate Park (8200 places) of 1958 to 1968.

Padres stopped their activities on arrival of a frankness from expansion of MLB in San Diego. In homage, the new frankness takes the name of San Diego Padres.
