Samuel W. Bodman
Samuel Wright Bodman (born in 1938) is an American politician, Secretary of State to energy since 2005 in the second government of George W. Bush.
Biography
Samuel W. Bodman was born in 1938 with Chicago.
Graduate engineer in chemistry of the University Cornell in 1961, and of the MIT in 1965, it works during six years as a professor associated with MIT.
He becomes then the chief technical officer of American Research and Development Corporation.
In 1983, it assumes the chairmanship of Fidelity Investments and in 1987, joined the board of directors of Corportation Pooch.
In 2001, Bodman becomes the vice-secretary with the trade in the government of George W. Bush.
In 2003, it is named as a vice-secretary with the treasure.
The January 31st 2005, it succeeds Spencer Abraham as Secrétaire with energy.
