Samuel Spiro
Miguel Samuel Spiro was born in Greece. At the beginning of the 19th century he emigrated with Buenos Aires with his two brothers.
He was with the service of the Révolution of May as of 1810. He was lieutenant of marine.
He dies heroically on March 28th 1814 during a naval action, when he exploded his ship rather than to go to the enemy.
The Argentinian navy baptized dux ships in its honor, of which the last in 1987.
