Samuel Schmid (born the January 8th 1947) with Rüti EIB Büren (canton of Bern) is a politician Suisse, member of the democratic Union of the center. It is federal adviser since 2001.

Studies and career

• It studies the right to the University of Bern

Federal adviser

• It is president of the Confederation in 2005.
