Samuel L. Jackson
Samuel L. Jackson , of its complete name Samuel Leroy Jackson , is an American actor, born the December 21st 1948 with Washington (the United States).
Biography
Samuel L. Jackson enters in Morehouse College of Atlanta to undertake studies of architecture but it is with a diploma of dramatic art that it comes out from it in 1972. It makes its beginnings with the cinema the same year in Together for days of Michael Schultz, but it prefers to be devoted to the theater while playing New York.
It made there the meeting of Spike Lee which will entrust later some small roles in its films to him (Do the right thing, Mo' Better Blues). This collaboration enables him to obtain with the Cannes festival in 1991 the Price of the best supporting role for Jungle Fever, in which it incarnates a junky. But it is its role of Jules, the philosophical killer of Pulp Fiction of Quentin Tarantino (1994), which it starifie. This last will again direct it in Jackie Brown in 1994 and a small role in Kill Bill in 2003 will also offer to him.
Crowned the American actor most prolific of the Eighties ten, Samuel L. Jackson is especially known for his roles of police officer as in KIS off death (1994) of Barbet Schroeder or in Négociateur (1998) of F. Gary Gray. What enables him to take down the role of the black cop most famous, Shaft, in 2000. Present in good number of action films with large budget, it has as a partner Bruce Willis in One day in hell (1995) of John McTiernan, with which it will collaborate again in Incassable (2000) of Mr. Night Shyamalan.
At fifty seven years, Samuel L. Jackson is the actor black-American " incontournable" (he played in nearly 70 films) so much so that George Lucas proposes to him to incarnate Mace Windu in the first three episodes of the saga Star wars. Always also avid of turning, in 2004 it makes six films of which XXx 2 and Star wars: episode III - Revenge of Sith. .
