Samuel Birch

Samuel Birch (November 3rd, 1813 - December 27th, 1885) is a Egyptologist English.

Interested very young person by work of Champollion and Young, it enters to the British Museum in 1836 when it finishes his career like conservative of Eastern Antiquities of 1866 to 1885.

Although not having never been in Egypt, it publishes 305 works and articles on the subject.
