Samuel Benchetrit (born the June 26th 1973 with Champigny-sur-Marne) is a writer, actor, scenario writer, realizer, French director.

Resulting from a modest family, her father is metal worker. He puts a term at his schooling at 15 years to launch out in the professional life. Accumulating the odd jobs, it finds a means of appeasing its artistic passion while working for example as assistant photographer or opener of cinema.

At 33 years, it starts a project to write its biography in 5 volumes under the title the Chronicles of the Asphalt , of which the 1st volume is appeared in 2005, second is planned for October 2006.

Father of the fourth wire of Marie Trintignant, it lives with Anna Mouglalis with which it had a girl, fore-mentioned Saul, born on March 7th, 2007.
