Samsu-Iluna

King of Babylon, Samsu-Iluna is the son of Hammourabi which it succeeds towards 1750 av. J-C./1749 av. J-C.. It continues the work of his father but is confronted throughout his reign with many revolts. Under its reign the first invasions Kassites occur which he temporarily manages to push back. It must however treat with the chief rebels Ilouma-Iloum which founds a dynasty in the southernmost province of the Babylonia. He dies towards 1712 av. J-C..
