Samson (river)
The Samson is a Walloon river running in the Province of Namur, in Belgium, in the area of the Condroz. It is an affluent of Right Bank of the Meuse, which is thrown in this one on the level of Namêche in the entity of Namur, between the latter and Andenne. The Samson sprinkles in particular the locality of Faulx-the-Tombs, today part of the commune of Gesves.
Flow
The medium flow of the river measured with Mozet (catchment area of 62 km ²), between 1992 and 2001 is of 0,91 m ³ a second. During the same period one recorded:
- a maximum average annual flow of 1,46 m ³ in 1988.
- a minimal average annual flow of 0,48 in 1996.
