Samatam Krouschnaya
Samatam Krouschnaya is a Poète, Historien, ayurvedist and Indian Politician born with Yanaon (Pondichéry) towards 1875. Author of many books in Télougou, he was honest pro-French and was killed during the Coup d'etat de Yanaon, the June 13rd 1954.
Biography
In 1954, Maddimsetti Satianandam flees Yanaon to join the group of profusion with the Indian Union. At 78 years, Samatam Krouschnaya became Maire of Yanaon (by interim); he was leading pro-French to be only fought against the leaders of profusion.
It is claimed that it was killed by the Indian Army during the occupation of Yanaon, but the true causes and truths authors of its death are still a mystery.
The day of the Coup d'etat de Yanaon, it carried out the only combat for French sovereignty on Yanaon against the faction profusion.
Whereas it tried to jump of a wall (to the house of Pydikondala) and to be put at the shelter, Samatam Krouschnaya was touched by shootings with the gun of Maddimchetty Satianandam and it crumbled. While dying, he shouted “Lives the France! ”. The death of Samatam is regarded by French as the result of a conspiracy of the Indians.
Patriot of France
The French government identified it like a Patriote of France and made set up a statue in its honor with Paris.
