Samantha oups!

Samantha oups ! is a humorous Televised series French created by David Strajmayster, realized by Bruno Piney and Xavier Pujade-Lauraine and diffused since the September 11th 2004 on France 2. With the Quebec, the series is diffused on VRAK.TV and in Belgium on Club RTL which one can follow it although it is the RTBF which holds the rights of the DVD.

Synopsis

This series with one six minutes duration sketches puts in scene the daily newspaper, often absurd, of two “blondes”: the Samantha blonde and the brown Chantal. Samantha is in love with Jean-Luc Delarue.

From now on into daily on France 2, the springtide proceeds in a lodging (thanks to the heritage of its “Tata Lo”) where many characters accompany Samantha and Chantal. The principal ones are: Simon (Philippe Spiteri), the missed writer; Annabelle (Marie-Laure Descoureaux), the commercial awkward one; Baul (Julien Cafaro), the factor which reads the letters before giving them; Gontrand and Ademar (Philippe Old and Eric Gougon), hunters and Daniel (Pierre-Yves Louarn), the teacher of horsemanship to the accent of the soil…

The sketches approach many topics of the everyday life, for example: Samantha celebrates Christmas, Samantha taxi driver, Samantha on vacation, Samantha in the dentist…

A project of film is in hand, the duet is currently with the writing of the scenario. Turning should be made in December 2007 and the exit is planned for December 2008.

Creation

The producer-realizer Xavier Pujade-Lauraine proposed this project with France 2 and the series left and gained a real success.
