Salvo, Oh Patria

The National anthem of the Ecuador was written by Juan León Mera, writer native of Ambato. The music is of Antonio Neumane. The anthem counts six verses on the whole, but generally, only the second is sung. Each Monday morning, before beginning the courses, in all the schools of the country, the pupils entonnent this anthem.
