Salvatore Maroni
Salvatore Vincent Maroni or Sal Maroni alias " The Boss" is a character of fiction, pertaining to cd. Comics, He appears for the first time in Detective Comics #66 (August 1942).
Biography
Salvatore Maroni is one of the first enemies of Batman and made party of the members of the underworld more coriaces of the town of Gotham City. He was the rival of Carmine Falcone and his family.
At the time of died of his/her father by the serial killer Holiday, Salvatore Maroni decides to do one to go with Harvey Dent, i.e. to go to testify against the Falcone family in exchange to a leniency at the time of its own lawsuit. Actually, Salvatore Maroni wanted to be avenged, because he believed that Harvey Dent was responsible for the murder of his/her father. Using an accomplice inside the courts, it could put the hand on a bottle of acid. At the time of its lawsuit, it projected the acid on the face of Harvey Dent which disfigured it instantaneously, and this incident created Double Face. Thereafter, Salvatorne Maroni was immediately put in prison.
Salvatore Maroni will be assassinated in prison, by the Holiday serial killer.

With the cinema, Maroni will be interprêté by Eric Roberts in 2008 in the continuation of the film Batman Begins, named The Dark Knight.
