Preparation

63 G of powder dissolved by ébullition.
To refer to the note because of variations of the composition (less inhibiting Formula of Shigella to 5,5 G of biliary salts for example).

Lake -: colonies incolores
Lake +: red colonies
Center black: H2S +
No the black center: H2S -
Normally cultivate on this medium only Gram - cultivating easily.
However one can meet particularly Enterococcus for some compositions.
Coliformes, as the bacilli oxydase + are not inhibited contrary to the assertions sometimes rencontrées.
